The Black Diamond Blues Festival is a tribute to days gone by, when the sound of blues reverberated through the streets from the downtown juke joints.  Luring the soldiers from Camp Stoneman; the adventurers and nomads from the more sedate surroundings of suburban cities, all transcended on Pittsburg, for a night of uninhibited dancing to risqué music on the shadier side of the tunnel.

In the same tradition, the Black Diamond Blues Festival will play host to a wide variety of blues bands from all over the United States ranging from back home Mississippi Delta Blues to the electronic mixes of a guitar, keyboard and sax when suburbia once again returns to Pittsburg.
